5 Top Companies that are Introducing Best Foldable Phones of 2019

Foldable phones are the latest trends in Smartphone technology. They will bring a big new and advanced trend in Smartphone. With bendable screens, Android support, plenty of potential and huge price tags, there are many leading companies that are developing the crazy foldable Smartphone trend.

Here are the names of the companies that are going to introduce this outstanding foldable Smartphone trend.

Samsung Galaxy

Samsung Galaxy Fold is going to top in the foldable phone industry. It has a 7.3-inch screen with 1,536 x 2,152 resolutions that folds in half, and it has a 4.58-inch screen on the surface. When you turn on the screen, you would be greeted by the one based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The Galaxy Fold will include two batteries with 2,190mAh capacity, 4,380mAh. The phone will also have triple rear cameras that are pretty standard for Samsung phones these days.

Huawei Mate X

The Huawei Mate X has been introduced in the market with a different approach in terms of its design. In its smaller Smartphone mode, it works as a dual-display device, the size of main display 6.6-inch panel a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Inside, the Huawei Mate X comprises the company’s in-house  Kirin 980 processor and Balong 5000 modem. It features includes 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, a Leica triple camera, and a 4,500mAh battery.  The cost of Huawei Mate X will be approx $2,110.

 

Motorola

Motorola is not in the back of this race and planning to develop a foldable phone. According to the news,  the phone would use the Motorola RAZR branding that was also used as the name for its highly popular flip phones that were huge hits over a decade ago. The report says the cost of the phone will be approx $1,500, and that Lenovo has a target of making 200,000 units of the Motorola RAZR foldable phone.

 

TCL

TCL is soon expected to enter in the foldable Smartphone market at some stage, though it doesn’t have a specific device yet. The company showed off a hinge – called DragonHinge – that could feature on different foldable phone designs, as well as wearables. Earlier, there was a prototype device at MWC that opened and shut like a wallet. The screen was on the inside, and there was no external display.

Oppo

Oppo unveiled the company’s folding smartphone through a series of photos on Weibo. The phone includes an outward-folding display and a sidebar containing all the camera equipment. Though the size is still not announced it is expected that the screen will be around the 6-inch range folded, and similar to the Fold or Mate X when unfolded. It will be much more screen real estate when using it as a phone. The downside is foldable displays are typically less durable than traditional displays. That is why, it is possible that the mobile set designed by Oppo will be much more fragile.

LG

In 2018, LG had confirmed that it plans to launch a foldable phone. Its LG Display division has been working on flexible screens technology for some time now. Apart from the announcement, in a recent press conference, the Korea Times quoted LG Electronics mobile and TV head Brian Kwon said that the company has decided not to make a foldable Smartphone for now.  LG is ready to respond depending on consumers’ reactions to foldable smart phones, he added.
